| Now that the dust has settled and the holiday season is underway, we’d like to take this moment to personally thank EVERYONE who attended the last installment of our bi-annual fundraiser, The 2018 Over The Limit Comedy Fest!
Our amazing headliner, the incomparable Maria Bamford put on an amazing performance for the ages, and couldn’t have been a more gracious and humble human being to work with, we hope to have her back sometime down the road and wish her nothing but the absolute best in her future escapades in the world of acting and comedy. What a saint!
In addition, an unexpected but welcome surprise was our official opener Maggie Maye! A last minute add to the show, she killed us with her performance and we couldn’t have been happier to have her join us!
Meanwhile, our local Frederick County comedians got their lion’s share of laughs as well. Our Host (and SOS Safe Ride President) Wayne Dorsey, our Featured act Joe Gilpin, and our Guest Performer Dom Rivera all rounded out this show tremendously and definitely showcased some of the amazing comedic talent that Frederick and surrounding areas have to offer. You don’t have to go far to get a good laugh around these parts~
We saw an attendance of nearly 750 people and in total raised a whopping $12,000 for drunk driving prevention in Frederick County through the Safe Ride Foundation and SOS Safe Ride, we can’t thank you as well as our sponsors enough for being a part of these special nights.
